Mennn, it is already December! Incredibly, what happened to time? Blink twice and it is already 2021. But not before we first start enjoying candles, fun and ...
very much.yummy.food !!!!! For some that is something to look forward to. This creates stress for the other.
This Burgundian and emotion eater understands that better than anyone!
Are you just as good at making sure that you eat nutritiously and that you do not eat too much or too little: suddenly there are shoes full of spice nuts, trees full of Christmas wreaths and bottles full of wine in front of you! Do you find it difficult to control yourself? Do not panic. I give you four very practical tips to get through the coming weeks without stress.
- 1. Eat at least 500 grams of vegetables every day.
Vegetables are full of fiber, which, among other things, ensures that you feel full. The more you get your feel full, the better you can control yourself.
And so many vegetables make you feel good about yourself. When we feel good, we are less likely to really overeat, because we don't have to feel unpleasant to compensate.
- 2. Eat up protein each meal.
Also protein provide a satiated feeling and they are very important for our body. They are also called the building blocks of our body. We use them in many processes in our body. When our body is well nourished, it has enough energy to do its job and will not scream for fast sugars. This way, you can choose when you feel like eating a treat instead of being overwhelmed. In the latter case, it is really incredibly difficult to do slow yourself down. What are they in then? Those proteins? You can find them in everything animal and if you go for it vegetable goes: think legumes, whole grains and green vegetables!
- 3. Walk twice a day for half an hour.
That way we keep moving and that makes us happy! Even if it is cold and raining: when you come home you have overcome something again! And that is a wonderful feeling. Here again applies: if we us
Feeling good about ourselves allows us to make much more conscious choices instead of being overcome by a massive urge for sugary foods. Make it as concrete as possible for yourself when you want to go for a walk, for example: immediately when I get up (put your clothes and shoes ready next to your bed, then you don't have to think in the morning) and when I use my laptop at the end of the day. The more concrete you have this for yourself, the more likely you will actually do it!
- 4. ENJOY! And relax. But really. It's not every month of December. So if you still lose yourself in all the goodies: no worries. In January it is no longer within reach and for me it works like this: if I have not eaten as nutritiously for a while, then there will always be a period in which I eat much more nutritiously again. Automatically. Because both my head and my body are there
longs for. That way it balances itself out on its own.
